Our Commitment to Supporting Wildlife Rescue Groups

Our Foundation is dedicated to fostering a collaborative network among Australia’s wildlife rescue groups through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). This partnership enables us to stay informed in real time about the unique challenges facing each group, facilitating the sharing of best practices and timely distribution of solutions. This two-way communication empowers us to focus resources effectively, reducing or eliminating challenges wherever possible.

Our initial research has highlighted several key areas where community groups commonly require support:

  • Improved and integrated IT infrastructure

  • Enhanced administrative capacities

  • Discounted food and supplies

In response, our team will conduct an annual, state-by-state survey of wildlife rescue groups to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs. This survey will help us adapt to evolving concerns and anticipate future challenges, allowing time to develop innovative solutions. Through this survey, we aim to:

  • Continuously strengthen relationships within the rescue community

  • Gather stories, case studies, and educational content

  • Collect valuable data to inform key decision-makers in wildlife conservation

Does the Foundation Award Financial Grants?

Yes, we offer financial grants to community groups dedicated to Australian wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation. Our grant programme will be rolled out state by state across Australia.

To apply, please complete the Initial Grant Application form. Once submitted, a full application will be emailed to you. If additional information is needed, don’t hesitate to contact us – we are eager to learn from you and improve our service.

How Do We Work Together for Continued Support?

To enable the Foundation to expand and sustain its support, we ask our networked community groups to commit to the following:

  • Feature the Foundation as a supporter on their website

  • Contribute content to our educational awareness programmes

  • Distribute educational publications within their communities when available

The Foundation deeply appreciates the backing of individual patrons and corporate sponsors. Their invaluable support makes our initiatives and objectives possible.

Our Supporters

The Foundation’s work would not be possible without the generosity of our patrons and corporate sponsors who have embraced this mission and lent their support nationwide. Thanks to their contributions, we’re able to spotlight the selfless contributions of volunteers, community groups, and leaders in the field of wildlife protection.
